The project positions itself as the next evolution in decentralized perpetual exchanges, attempting to outflank incumbents like dYdX and Hyperliquid by offering native RWA trading and a shared-state execution environment. RISE Chain is an EVM-compatible L2 that hosts a single flagship application: the RISEx perpetuals engine. This is a genuine improvement over existing designs. On dYdX v4, you cannot use your perp PnL to open a spot position without exiting the dYdX chain. And the decision to separate the points program from the token launch, with a multi-year runway, shows capital efficiency and strategic patience. In a market plagued by pump-and-dump schemes, a team willing to spend two years building before distributing value is rare. But that is a lot of 'ifs'.
